Title: According to Y&Y

the 'Prince of Wales Cup is unique as it's decided on a first-past-the-post basis'

Somebody needs to do their research...

I don't think Y&Y (or Dinghy Sailor for that matter) do much in the way of research. They just reprint press releases...
Neither office seems to be possessed of a dictionary either, the epidemic use of planning instead of planing, lightening instead of lightning and loose instead of lose making reading either a generally undewhelming experience.  And that's not even getting started on the lazy library photos and poor/inaccurate captioning.  :-/
As ever Seahorse is the only magazine worth reading (if you can find it...)

I did get a copy of DSM once.... They had an article about International 14s so riddled with inaccuracies it was positively funny....

PPOW is unusal in that it has a leeward finish. Do you know of any CLASS races that are NOT decided as first past the post??
