Title: Twickenham open next Sunday 30th Sept
Post by: MikeDay on 23 Sep 2007, 07:48
The final event of the Thames Area series is next Sunday, 30th September.  Come and enjoy this tidal stretch of the Thames and some warm hospitality from the home fleet.  It would be great to have a good turn-out of visitors.

Usual format is three races, first start at 11am.

We are planning to show up on Sunday, but unfortunately can't join you until after lunch.  Looking forward to seeing you there !

I hope to be there too - sorry about the no show at Henley. To many other things to do and no crew - I'll be more organised this week (and I finished the wall paper this evening!)

Cheers

Ok, that's great, now we're talking!  Suddenly the attraction of the last Thames Area qualifier has revealed itself - and there's all to play for with John and Mandy currently leading - having come from nowhere in the last two weeks.

Any more for Sunday?

I have additional video footage that I did not include in the Youtube videos. If anybody wants some additional film of their boat, let me know and I will try to e-mail it to you.

Shame we didn't have more wind. I was hoping for some really spectacular shots. ;D

Anyway  the event was enough to convince me that it is time I changed from an Enteprise to a National 12.
