Title: Tynemouth
Post by: philipcosson on 14 Jun 2006, 09:25
Hi all,

Where will the Tynemouth course be set? in the harbour?

I have inlaws who are in South Shields - and could pop down and watch from there if it is in the harbour...

I'm thinking of braving the sea, it will be our first salt water outing in any sailboat/dinghy - ever!

Hi Philip

The decision as to 'in harbour' or 'out of harbour' is generally taken on the day, depending on the tide and weather conditions.

It's a great venue and the fleet will, I am sure, look after you.  Howard Steavenson will be sending out start times etc shortly.

Happy sailing

Some details asap would be appreciated - I can then let my crew (non family) know when to arrive and whether she will need to travel independently to meet another commitment in the early evening.

THanks
