The Gill Series is the National 12’s premier annual racing series which each year covers eight events across the country. The format is designed to encourage all ages of 12 and all levels of helm. With prizes spread across the fleet and particular recognition given to those who have not entered the series before.
It is a fantastic mix of sailing venues, ranging from restricted waters & tidal estuaries to open sea.  Of the eight venues, you need to enter four to qualify for the series. Prizes are awarded at individual venues in addition to the final prize giving held at the last event of the Year, at Northampton SC in November.

The main class sponsor, GILL support not only Burton Week, but also the GILL Series. With BW now part of the this series, why not come and join in at some of the other 7 events held round the country through out the year. The series now distinguishes between T-foilers, DB’s, AC boats and Vintage, so there is a way for all types of 12 to feel part of the competition and be recognised for their efforts!.
