Brightlingsea Sailing Club is situated on the East coast and racing takes place in the Colne/Blackwater estuary. THe club has a history going back over 120 years and more recently has held major National Championships for fleets such as Mirrors, B14’s and Tornado’s. They have a very experienced racing team who are used to running large events.
Brightlingsea itself, is a small but popular coastal resort with beaches and plenty to do for those who are not competing in the championships. The clubhouse is spacious and has great facilities and all jut a stones through away from the nearest campsite for those thinking of camping during the event.
