Kevin, if for any reason the Saturday sailing does not run (too much or too little wind) will the Sunday results be used as both the final Gill and Inlands?

Anyone else planning on Camping over (have new tent!!) - hope its not too cold / wet / windy.

Can we get more than 40 boats there??

Thanks Kevin for posting - the results for Grafham are also up on their website too.

Congrats to Grazz & Zoe as they have four wins and win the overall series.

Congrats to Philip David as he's won the AC cup prize.

All the other places are still up for grabs though!!

16 helms have already done 4 or more events and further 11 just need to do the last one - should be a good turnout for Northampton then.

Jeremy - aware of how Burghfield runs its Wednesday handicap pursuit and this is well organised and makes for a great way to go.

The post race adjustment would just be easier - a bit of fun, you can keep all the results before and after so to speak.  Our top 'hot dog' Solo guy finished I think 3rd / 4th but would have been a clear winner if no points adjustment was made.  For the first time in ages the Lasers got the top 2 spots.

FYI - GWSC shows the event at 12pm - no actual NOR up but it may cause some confusion.

Rod my first 12 was a Baggy T - got used to sailing a 12 but then changed to a Crusader.  I'd support what others have said the Baggy is faster off wind and is harder to tack and sail in light winds.  But if you just want to get a cheap boat to gte going and then go to a DB don't see why this isn't an option - if you do a few Opens you won't just be sailing on your local water - then you can get to see / try out other 12s too.

Lets hope Grazz & Zoe can do us proud at the Endeavour Cup this weekend - have to get used to that 3rd sail up front though!

Sam - I'm crewless for Grafham so if you can crew for me that would be great.  Northampton I'd like to use my eldest son again - but there may also be more opportunities for the Burghfield mini series.

You can email me via the forum.

Soory didn't make it - #1 crew too tired after days playing table tennis and #2 crew didn't like the weather!  Hope it was a good turn out - seemed blustery here so maybe not such a bad decision but I would have preferred a day out on the river to gardening.
