Boat may have had something of a head on altercation with an Exe navigation mark due to supposedly competent 12 helm showing off while rudderless sailing...can't think who that might be...

I bought 3295 in March 2002 and owned her through to early 2005, in that time she acquired carbon spars and a new rig and saw most parts of the country...

1st Looe Open Meeting in 2004
2nd AC Gill Series 2003
1st AC RHYC Open 2003

Burton Week:

3295 finished 2nd AC in 2002, 3rd in 2003 and finally secured the Admirals Cup in 2004 - having already won the Beeston Goblet the previous year. With a 10th place in the first race of the 2004 BW she was the first single-bottom pathfinder for some years!

I owned 3007 between 2000 and 2001, having bought her from Graham Camm and renamed her 'On The Shark'.

The tasteful green main was seen around various parts of the circuit in 2001, recording a 42nd at Burton Week (and second from last in the Burton Cup...) before becoming irretrievably torn over the bow of a moored yacht at Salcombe.

The boat now resides at Lympstone SC

Discoball was built as our step up from the Admirals Cup. Matched with an Angell mast and Rowsell sails (and a large amount of correctors...) she was quick out of the box and allowed Sam and I, as a very light crew to stay on the pace in a lot more breeze than had been possible before.

I don't think we ever reached the real potential of the boat due to very limited time to practice - but despite only 1 afternoon sailing between the 05 and 06 Burton Weeks we still managed to place in the top ten which probably says a lot for the designs innate speed and ease of handling.
