Overall results have now been posted. I will work on the subsidiary sections and try to work out who qualifies for each over the few days.

Apologies for the delay.

Back to the top, it's this weekend.

She made it - 6 hours, 19 minutes, 44 seconds - and she loved it!

Lesley met up with some of her fellow runners yesterday (Friday), there are a few photos in the picture gallery.

Many thanks to everyone who has sponsored Lesley. The collective members of the National 12 class are currently her largest sponsor, but I am hoping to change that at work today and tomorrow. If you have been meaning to do so but not yet got around to it, fear not, there is still time. A slightly easier address for her sponsorship page is: www.bhf.org.uk/sponsor/lesleyiles.

NEW NEWS - WE HAVE A WORLD RECORD HOLDER
Guiness World Records has confirmed that Lesley has the oldest functioning pacemaker in the world. She will be presented with a certificate to this effect at a ceremony on Friday and has been moved to the celebrity starting area for the marathon so there is every chance you may see her being interviewed on TV while you are eating your cornflakes on Sunday morning.

Think of her while you are out sailing.

I understand the following is what is proposed for this weekend:

1PM start on the Saturday with a 12PM race briefing. 10AM on the Sunday. 2 races on Sat, 3 on Sun. 4 races to count.

Car and boat parking within our car and boat park.

Arrangements have been made with one of the club's neighbours who owns some land near the club to allow camping on their land for a small charge. You can camp here Friday and Saturday night.

Dinner has been arranged. We are proposing  one sitting at 7PM.

Disco arranged from 9PM.

Found after the GILL event at Bristol, one lower. Please let me know if you have lost it.

For all those who are dying to know the results and read the write-up, you should have been there to find out. They will be with the web-master on Tuesday for posting on this site.

Rick, it's a shame you were not around for the 70th at Northampton last May when Steve took cliff out in N3373 (the boat Steve won Burton Week in) for a sail. Your dream would have been granted except for the fact that Steve kept hold of the stick.

I have some photos if anyone is interested ......

Jane & I expect to be there with 3491. There are usually 3 or 4 12's in attendance. Great event and for a very worthwhile cause.
