Hi Roland,

I'd expect Graham (and Zoe) probably have the measurements somewhere of the sails they used when they owned her and which sails they felt worked best - I'd expect they were P&B who are "the gold standard".

Probably about to get into our busy season in normal times, N12 Facebook remains active as does the Instagram. The NTOA Committee held a successful meeting online last weekend and we have loads of ideas.

There are over 1,000 photos on the N12 Flickr and I hope over the next few weeks this number increases as we're able to get the slides out of the loft, scan in photos and upload them etc!

Graham did a fantastic job with the 2019 video and we have plans for a better one this year - when we get to go sailing again!

Quick update - boat has sat in the shed for 4 years and is still for sale, in Cambridgeshire!

I have just checked my archives and it was actually 3495 that was for sale in Scotland / the north. 3505 was for sale in May 2017 & re listed on 1st May 2018 on Facebook in Cottenham, Cambridgeshire. I've found the advert again and just asked if it sold!

I last saw it for sale (online) in Scotland I think about 12 months ago.

Y&Y Report soon, however well done to Tom & Robbie for winning, Jonno & Rachel in 2nd and Kevin & Andrea in 3rd - close racing up the front end of the fleet!

The dinner was excellent too with over 30 attending, great to see some past & present N12 sailors with some younger members of the fleet too!

N12 Mid-Winter Championships

In light of the worsening forecast for Sunday we have agreed with the RHYC to bring the sailing forward to Saturday 8th February.

The first start will be 10:00 on Saturday.

There will be no change to the dinner, it will be 19:00 for 19:30 but the rugby will be on in the clubhouse in the afternoon.

This will be disappointing for some however with gusts forecast to exceed 55kts on Sunday, it does look like the best option.

It looks very good in the photos, fantastic deck.

The question is, where will you be sailing her and will you show her off at any opens or GUL events?

Hi All,

The GUL Series returns on 20th & 21st July at a Royal Harwich Yacht Club. There will be 6 races over the weekend with an additional handicap based pursuit race on the Sunday morning as per usual.

Free camping on site all weekend, lawn games and a crew's breifing / panel has been arranged for the Saturday afternoon, after sailing.

We're sharing with a few other fleets so expect a great social off the water, with a live band on Saturday evening.

The entry fee increases next week so best to get your entry in now!

Full details available here:

Please let me know if you have any questions, need a crew, have a spare crew or want to borrow a boat for the weekend!

I believe the pub does breakfast on the Sunday for those unseasoned campers!

Great racing throughout the fleet, very close for everyone I think. Always good when we turn up with more boats than the other fleet too!

Great weekend!
