Sad Tidings. We have taken the decision to CANCEL the N12 Vintage Open at TVSC this weekend. Firstly we now have only three confirmed entries but, perhaps more strategically, there will be a major/urgent working party repairing/concreting the access road under the railway bridge and the alternative route is not conducive to the safe transport of vintage boats. Apologies if you had decided to come along but we will try again next year. Px  :'(

And Dave Peacock will be there in Fair Lady N2620, but sadly no Martin Clarke (injured). Px  8)

Entries are already flooding in! Jeremy Neville-Elliot is sailing N2524 "Ethelred" crewed by Helen Geary from TVSC and "New Boy" (Duncan Adams from Attenborough crewed by daughter Layla) is borrowing N2359 Shotgun so plus me and Christine in N2403 China Doll makes three. Oh and Gerald promised to be there with N2399 Mr Jones... Px  :-*

A sincere "thank you" to Jonathan and "Bosun Bob" for organising a fab day at MKSC. A cracking breeze, simple/great courses and bacon butties as we arrived; what more could we ask for? MORE SUPPORT!!! What a crying shame that there were only three if us there to enjoy MKSC's hospitality and excellent facilities/lake. If I can travel from 80 miles from Nottingham and Chris Troth from Birmingham, where were all you Thames Area peeps? P  >:(
