Well, we went to a fair amount of trouble, laid on a National level instructor, rescue boat and all the bits you need for a training day and hey ho, no-one can be @334d to turn up. Shame really, but there you go.
I'm glad I told the caterers not to come, that would have been really embarrassing.

Hi there, did anyone do the bloody mary and how did you all get on?

Hi Everybody, just to say Happy New Year to you all. We are having a New Years Day 'race' at Spinnaker so hope to see a few of you Spinnakers 12's there.

The comment about clubs not co-operating is noted with interest at Spinnaker. We wanted a Gill event on our clubs 50th anniversary, we have a growing fleet of 12's, yet were not deemed a suitable venue. With stalwarts such as David Wilkins and Steve Adshead at the club this is a real shame.

Fantastic news Graham and Zoe, can I pre-book Zoe when she gets dumped for a new extra-light crew?  ;D

Jim, you will need to be careful on length as I guess the standard set up will assume the boat has a stern where pudding has a hole!
Best check with Dare if I was you before making/ordering

Thought you might like to see a picture of our training day.

Great time, well done Phi, Graham and Zoe.

Chinese sick leave
'Hey, boss, I no come work today, I feel really sck. Got headache, stomach ache and'
The boss say 'You know Hung Chow, I really need you here today. When I feel like this i go to my wife and say give me sex. That makes everything better and then I go to work happy. You try that'
Two hours later Hung CHow calls again 'hey boss, I do what you say and now I feel great. I be at work soon... You got nice house'

I need to get hold of Nigel Waller (or Ben) to ask if they can remember the colour they used to spray my boat (N3454 formerly 'Amy' and 'Sunset Surreal').
I have some small damage caused by a Solo who has problems understanding basic sailing rules and rammed me despite my considerable efforts to avoid him. Excuse ~ I was too busy trying to see if I had some weed on my rudder!
Cannot get an answer from Nigel on the number on this site and neither me nor the repairer can get an answer from the email.
we're keen to come down for the training but what time do we need to be there for &rigged etc?
If you could aim to arrive by 0930hrs or so we'll have the kettle on

Hi folks, unless we get a little more positive response on the training day at Spinnaker, I see little point in dragging Graham and Zoe down. We thought it would be an attractive proposition to many of you, especially with our own Phil Brown there. Phil is a top class coach with a couple of World Championships up his sleeve!
Everyone says they want training days, we are providing just that at a good venue (Spinnaker is a RYA Champion Club) and top class coaching. So why are we getting no response...
We'll see how things are going and review the position next week.
