Ratbag N1426 was rescued from a garden in Wales in 1999 and restored over the next four years.
A second hand needle mast was added (a wooden one could not be found) and it was kitted out in 2005. It was sailed in Sandwell Valley, West Bromwich in 2005/2006 and returned home to Pembrokeshire in 2006 where it has been sailed at Solva and Landshipping. Since the restoration, it has taken some minor and mildy upsetting damage, once when recovered full of water by some over-enthusiastic bystanders and again when blown over on its trailer on the quayside by a summer gale. Unwelcome but my family calls them 'war wounds'.

Thanks for that. No built-in buoyancy so it's 2 at the back and a triangular up front. I heard a rumour that Crewsaver are stopping the triangular ones so they need to be snapped up. Must get shopping.

I need buoyancy bags for my Proctor Mk 6 No 1426. How many 36"X12" needed? Suggest supplier? Currently using borrowed ones from a dayboat. Kept afloat during a recent tip but they grab a lot of floor space.

Urgently need mast, sails & cover for restored 1426. Wood best but metal mast might have to do to get sailing this summer. Can collect around W Midlands.
