Does anybody have any history or know anything abouth this boat? I have just bought it from a man in Padstow but cant find any history about it.
We are looking to swap the carbon spars and rudder from Baggy Aardvark onto the newer glass boat to reduce maintainance time and increase sailing time 😃

Who makes the best sails for a pair of fatties in a N12?
We have had a couple of sails now love the boat but it could do with some new rags and as much power as possible.

Thanks all for the reply.
I cant wait to get out for a sail in it now. Does anyone know where the name came from?

Cool thank you both. That makes sense.

Does anybody know what the 4" hole in the foredeck next to the mast is for?
Its really bugging me not knowing.
Cheers

So after my previous post and deciding I'm not too fat for a 12 I've gone and bought Baggy Aardvark. It was mainly because she had all the carbon toys but hopefully we'll have a great seasons racing.
Be prepared for lots of stupid questions.

Thank you all for your help.
I have the opportunity to buy a baggy with a carbon mast and boom which hasn't been used in 18 months and is on my doorstep for less than £1000.
I sail in open sea mainly for fun but our club also race on an small river so a mixture of both for where I'll use it.
Do you think I should avoid the baggy as it will be no good for me and wait  until I can afford something better.
Thanks again for the help.

I am looking to buy a 12, but at 90kgs am wasting my time. Mostly i sail with my brother-in-law who is 80ish kgs. Is their a design that would tollerate that weight but also allow me to sail with my teenage foster child.
Any help would be greatly recieved.
