Why is there no PY number for N12 in the 2025 list just published by the RYA

They were used quite successfully on a number of merlin rockets in the late 80s. Diamond Smiles was fitted with them for adjusting the shrouds, were fitted on tracks like a number of 12s have, and I think John Turners Passion did too. Theory was it took all the load out of the Hull as the master cylinder could be located wherever you wanted it to go.
Think cost was a major issue.  Most yachts use hydraulics as the norm.

My outhaul is connected to a cleat on the boom on 3546. Easy for the crew to adjust but not too bad for the helm to change either.
Kicker worth having continual. Everything else I don't bother.

Ben...  contact Simon Hipkins. He sourced some sycamore from a huge timber yard in Maldon when he built Shades of Grey. I remember him being quite particular in using sycamore rather than maple.  Cant remember why but the grain is very different.

Hi everybody.
I really want to replace my main halyard as the one I have now seems too hard and too shiny and tends to slip in the cleat whenever I pull the Cunningham on.
It also seems too big a diameter.
What do other people use.
Looking for recommendations.

Hi everybody...
Looking to purchase some new boots.
I love the aigle style of boots but unfortunately aigle dont produce them any more so I bought the closest thing I could get which were the gill competition...well never again...
So 18 months later it's back on the hunt for comfortable, robust and practical boots for National 12 sailing week in and week out.
Any suggestions and more importantly personal feedback really appreciated.

Unfortunately, having not been sailed for a number of years Grimly Fiendish has been decommissioned.  I spent a morning boat bimbling and stripped all the fittings off her.
Bit of a sad day as she did get me back into sailing twelve again after a ten year break

Campers are more than welcome to use traditional bbq type cooking facilities it is just the use of gas which is not allowed.
Hot water will be available in the clubhouse throughout the weekend including Friday night if people let me know in advance.
Dropping off boats and camping Friday is fine as long as I know so I can make sure I am there or can give you the code for the gate. Plenty of room on the lawn in front of the clubhouse.
