Hi, looking for abit of advice. I am rigging 3308 and having never sailed a 12 before or a boat with lowers, I just want to confirm they are in the right place or if I need to adjust the position. I've attached a couple of photos showing how I think they were on the boat before I purchased it, but after reading a few threads on the forum I'm not sure if this is correct.

I'm undertaking the same process with my crusader. I found the same when I turned the boat over to paint.

I spent quite a bit of time sanding and filling where needed. Applied the fresh paint, it seems to have sorted the lines and cracks in the old paintwork.

I'm looking at buying N3392 as a first 12, the boat has been sat unused but intact with everything required to sail.

Does anybody have any photos of their boats that I can get an idea on how to make sure all the things are in the correct place before getting on the water?

Also is it a good boat to start in the class? If all goes well I'll be after a 2nd hand set of newer sails early next year once we have got used to the boat.
