So did I. :)

Not with it still being a N12. Outriggers are not in class :)

Ben,  I sail a N12 at Chew Valley. Things are very different from 15 years ago when the reputation was not good. It is a really friendy club with great racing, some good up and coming sailors and some big waves building in a SW wind. If you want to come and take a fresh look and a spin in a foolish send me a mail. I'm down most Sundays for the racing.

I asked the RCD question to clarify what we needed to do to show we are exempt. I know the Musto Skiffs have a type approval document, user manual and CE marks to point at to make travel less painful. Stickers sound good.

It would be goog to clear up any trailer issus with the lighting and reflector requirements. Fore newer trailers some type approval changes are being phased in over the next couple of years. I'm sure someone will have a checklist. I ask because I don't know :)

That sounds like a great idea.
Is my understanding of the RCD requirements for customs and travel correct. i.e. less than 2.5m boat length is exempt.
What documents would be needed?

... also a european spec trailer would be needed.

Boats / Re: N3455 Bart

Bart has now moved to Chew Valley where Martha and I will be getting back up to speed before heading to a few open meetings after her GCSEs.

After Caroline,  Bart was owned by Gerry Ledger until April 2012.

How did Gavin say you made a Paradigm 3?

The measurement team, undaunted,  were concerned with the proposed weight equalisation rules.

Have you checked the technical guide in http://www.national12.org/private.shtml#technical_stuff for the more general stuff?
I'm sure the current Paradigm owners will be happy to share their settings once they read your post.

Here is a photo.

I have seen this before. They usually come in pairs.

I'm sure repairs can't be this simple... just a lick of varnish.
