Design: Mark 8A, designed by: Ian Proctor in 1958[/quote] I saved Saucey Doll from the club bonfire in 1997, she was in a bit of a state to say the least. I had only just passed my level 1& 2 and had no idea what class of boat she was. Through some investigation I found that she was a Mk8a N12. Over the next three years I repaired all the rotten boards, replaced the decking and gave her a lick of paint and varnish. I have sailed her at Roundhill Sailing Association in Leicester until 2006 when we moved to Norfolk. She is currently having a new coat of paint and varnish, and will be sailed at Hickling Broad Sailing Club for the 2007 season.
