I have behind my shed an old mast which you can have. it is short of some fittings and is short at the bottom. It is 33ins from the black band. Numbers in the hand book. Gerry Ledger

Yes Tim, I was useing a simple water proof camera lent by I cant remember who and the rib was a bit bouncy for closeups.

Hi Dave, use epoxy whith filler.
Yes I built all the Crusader 88s
Dont try shaping the patch till it is glued on, it is easyer to clamp,good luck

I start whith 1 in cut to a patten then cut it down the middle to get two. There is quite a curve on it so you need a wide board, very wastfull for one set.

If the wood is or was white it is sycamor. To replace them first you will need about 20 clamps. Give me a ring and I will try and tell you how to do it, not easy the first time. Gerry

Hi Tim the problem is caused by the batten ending in the middle of nowhere making a hard spot. I learnt years ago that this hapens with knees an d floors. Best way to solve it is to replace the batten whith a full length one or with a ply pad at the end to spread the load.Hope this helps.

Hi Tim .I have used these stocks, you are correct the wheel drops into a notch in the blade and the up haul string goes round it in the groove which when pulled pulls the wheel up against the spring getting the blade come up. Hope this helps      Gerry
