Hi,

I'm currently looking into a long overdue replacement for the sails on my Design 8. Looking at P&B's website I'm slightly daunted by the array of options so would be great to get some advice on what is most suitable. In addition to the Dacron/Laminate choice the laminate itself seems to come as either radial, ODL06 and ODL04 all of which in turn give a choice of full or flat cut. I mainly sail at Twickenham so will mostly be dealing with light, fluky winds with more wind above tree height so guessing lighter material with more roach at the top is useful. Any thoughts on the different options offered would be great.

Just a reminder we'll be holding our annual open meeting at Twickenham on Sunday 18th October, please see poster for details- https://www.national12.org/events/2020/twickenham_NoR.pdf. As things currently stand we'll be able to do the normal day's racing and have the bar open for drinks provided competitors are seated in tables of less than 6. Would be great to welcome any visitors up for competing, so we can keep track of entries please let me know if you're planning to come either on here or to tomvh@hotmail.co.uk.

Twickenham Yacht Club will be holding our N12 Open and leg of the Thames Challenge series on Sunday 20th October. Three races across the day starting at 11am, please see attached information for details. Please let me know if you are interested in attending.

Hi all,


Just a reminder Twickenham Yacht Club will be hosting the next leg of the Thames Series this Sunday, 8th October. This also doubles as our National 12 Open meeting so open to everyone whether you're a regular on the circuit or just fancy a day's racing on a different stretch of water. Our fleet is currently at a high with a mix of vintage, Admiral's cup and double bottomed boats and would be great to see as many visitors as possible on the water. Three races across the day with lunch and bar available at the clubhouse.

Hi everyone, I'd like to invite you all to the National 12 open meeting at Twickenham Yacht Club on Sunday 2nd October. We'll have three races across the day with the first starting at 11am. Food and drink will be available from the bar throughout the day with a splendid trophy for the winner at prize giving. Results will also count towards the Thames series for those involved. We've been fortunate to have a growing fleet of 12s of a range of designs at the club and it would be great to see as many visitors as possible out on the water. If you could let me know if you're planning on joining that would be great.

Bought by me from Phil and Dawn Brown and being sailed at Twickenham YC. Re-named Arctic Fox she is my second National 12 and brings the club fleet back up to 6 boats.
