Does my boat, single floored baggy trousers 3434, count as an admirals cupper?

On page 8 of the 2007 handbook, that has just arrived throught the post,  the cut off is prior to sail number 3414 and those that meet the pre 1/1/1996 buoyancy rules.

So I guess not. But I may be wrong

When i raced at the burghfield event i was down as being an admirals cup boat

Alex is correct - probably people assume the numbers as a guide and don't check - example 3402 is now a DB converted from AC, 3500 is now a single bottom was a DB.  3500 would not be classed as an AC.

The new year book shows which are DB by  a new code too, f.

Having been the first measurer of 3434, and assumimg that it hasn't been altered since then I would most definately class it as an AC boat. From my understanding the boat was a long time in the building and came from the Cheshire Dinghy and Dive mould, changing hands a couple of times before Pete Bennett finally finished her and launched her at Saltash.

Kean, I can think of two other 'AC' boats that have been converted - Ella and Respectable St, there may be others!
