The Smartgroup is no more, instead we have . . .

Dear all,

The Smartgroup has been discontinued because it has been malfunctioning. Instead we now have a brilliant new mail list which enables you to subscribe for particular e-mail categories. We've taken everyone who was in the Smartgroup and add them to new mailing list automatically with a subscription to all e-mail categories.

You can choose from the following categories

Eastern Area
Gill Series
Midland Area
Northern Area
Scottish Area
South West Area
Thames & Southern Area

Grazz - you should sticky this to prevent it being lost down the forum as well as maybe adding as a link in the main 12 page.

This looks like exactly the kind of thing we want to set up for our club to distribute newsletters, send notices, advertise for a crew etc.

Not being a web wizard, is it easy to set up? Does it require any special software. Can anyone advise?

Are club and the RS association use yahoo groups.
Really easy to set up, you can add members really easily.share files and photos.
And best of all it's free!
