Eileen Ramsay 100

Somewhat surprised that there is no mention on the board of Eileen Ramsay's 100th Birthday, although before my time I did have the pleasure of meeting her on a number of occasions when she visited events.


Perhaps there is an opportunity for some of the Senior Members to bring younger members of the contribution that she made to 12s and sailing in the 50's and 60's.

I have her book, Dinghy Days printed in 1959. It has many good photos which include some of 12's and well known 12 sailors. Eileen must have been one of the first to take and print good dinghy photographs.

I also have a copy of Eileen's book, published in 1959, which I don't wish to hang on to. Good condition; dust cover a bit rugged at the edges. Any offers?
