The life of N2313 Delusion. Design: Starfish, designed by: Mike Nokes in 1961

DELUSION was originally made for me and sailed until l970 at Nottingham  Sailing Club. On moving south it was sailed at Hamble River with regular annual trips to the regattas at  Brixham',Torquay,Dartmouth and Salcombe. Back problems (it could not match GP l4 round Torbay in a half gale!) curtailed serious  sailing. It was briefly at Northampton S C and tenyears upside down in the garden. In l989 it went to Hollowell S C and  golf took presedence unti the “anchor was  swallowed” due the age of the boat and the helmsman. It was put up for  disposal in 2011. Hopefully it has found a

new owner.

My records show that I met this boat at the 1971 Brixham Regatta. (The Regatta was memorable for me, with Jean crewing, for an unusual gear failure!) Hopefully a record of the event and Delusion's result appears below.
