Twickenham National 12 Open

Who's coming to the open meeting at Twickenham on October 12th? As well as our unique combination of tide and current on the maintained level we can now boast refurbished changing rooms, a new kitchen and a stunning balcony cantilevered out over the Thames. First race starts at 11:00. Visitors' launching will be from the White Swan Hard and we have some parking permits- please post on this thread if you would like to use one. Thanks, Owen

Hi, we are planning to come along with the Full Monty on Saturday.  We think that there will be 1 car arriving around 10ish and one lunch time - is that going to cause any problems ?

Sorry to say that our logistics are really too complicated tomorrow so we won't be joining the fun on the river . I hope you have a great event and look forwards to sailing on your stretch of the Thames again soon.

Hi John, thanks for letting us know- shame you couldn't make it- conditions were excellent. Your next chances to sail at Twickenham Yacht Club are the regatta on the 12th and 13th July and the 2014 open meeting, pencilled in for Sunday the 28th September.
