There's a great weekend of sailing planned in Yorkshire in early October and we're hoping for the warm weather to continue, the wind to be fair and lots of people turning up!

The 2 day N12 extravaganza begins at Ripon SC on Saturday 6 October and continues with a further day of racing, this time at Yeadon SC, on Sunday 7 October.  There is a meal and social at Ripon SC on the Saturday evening, and camping is available at the club for those who wish to stay over.  Last year 100 current and past N12 sailors sat down for supper at Ripon and a warm welcome is extended to those who will be sailing, will be shorebound or who have been involved in the class in the past.  In order to help with catering we do need to have some idea of numbers attending the supper and we'd be grateful if you could let us know if you'd like to join in.

So, now the killer question, who's coming to play?

Hiya Looking forward to it again and will have 2 boats at Yeadon and maybe 2 boats at Ripon as well.  Lets hope the vinatge fleet is as well represented again this year so we can beat a few of the carbon job/double floored boats again!!!!!!!!! :D

Great - entries totting up nicely now!  We are hoping both Roly and Xanthus will be out on the water at Ripon and Xanthus will also be travelling to Yeadon.

See you there!

Looking like 15+ boats already for Ripon - come on guys let's try and get to at least 20!

The cover is being dusted off, the carbon suitably polished and a new cardboard box will be installed so that Spaceman Spiff and Transmogrifier will be there. Odds on there will also be some small Ice Cream Children for Ellie and Toby to play with in the cardboard box......

Looks like we might be 20+ for Ripon - which is fantastic news.  Looking forward to a great weekend

Just back from a day spent crewing an Ent at the Ripon Ent Open and longing to be back in my 12!

There will be the traditional after sailing supper on Saturday night and it would help us to plan the right amount of food if we had some advance idea of numbers.  So, if you are coming and planning on staying for supper either post here or email us - no need to definitely commit now but some advance notification would be good.

Looking forward to a great weekend next weekend

A little more wind would have been nice, but other than that what a fantastic day!  For those who weren't there we had 22 boats, which were split as follows:

Admiral's Cup 10 boats
Double bottomed 5 boats
Vintage 7 boats

A great day of sailing rounded off with an evening meal for nearly 50 people in the clubhouse.

Thanks to everyone who came along and supported the event.
