Avenger was an entrant in the 1953 Coronation year 'Round the Island' dinghy race and has the chrome plaque recording the event.

Avenger is now, 2013, at the Classic Boat Museum, East Cowes, Isle of Wight (previously located at Newport, IoW - from pre February 1999).

This boat is in very good condition and is housed at the Classic Boat Museum, Newport IoW.  Has a very nice suit of cotton Ratsey & Lapthorn sails.  Most of the fitting are original.
