Cheap Old Main Wanted

Has anyone close to Warwickshire got an old Main sail they don't want. I am not too bothered about condition or performance - as long as it is in one piece!

I am happy to pay - but not much!

Bridget,

I have a Dacron main which is in reasonably good condition. Very clean, if a little soft.
I got it with a boat I have just bought and don't need it. The only fault is a small tear at the luff of the top batten, which would need reparing.

I live in Essex but am travelling up to Newcastle on Tuesday evening. If you want I can bring it with me and you can have a look. Call me if interested.

Thanks for replying to my request for an old main. Your offer sounds perfect.

However, we are within a mile of junc 3 of the M42 but I don't think this is anywhere on the route between Essex and Newcastle.

Alternatively, I work in North London (Golders Green) if this helps.
