Jean- Yves is about to be building a pudding boat in France, he has the plans and is working on them at present. he needs help with a few measurements that I do not have. I have suggested he puts his questions for you to answer.

Great news Dare - I guess this one will be a dessert rather than a pudding!

I am hoping that Jean-Yves posts here, but a preview of his plans are attached.

Hello Dare,

I am here now, but still a beginner, as N12 designer and forum member. Worst of all, I am French!

I would like to get the following measurements (see drawing attached) in order to put shroud plates reinforcements. An average value would be greatly appreciated. Thanks for your help and support.

Sam White

Looks a sexy little design there.
I only have older n12's, one from 1975 and one from 1988 but happy to send you the spreader and shroud measurements next time I get down to the club

From the tuning guide a length of 330mm and a depth of 130mm would be a place to start.
What is "correct" somewhat depends on the mast I believe

Thanks Dave, will use those measurements as a start for my design project.
