Disposal of plastic boats

Is anyone aware of any schemes to dispose of/recycle old plastic/grp boats?

Cut them up (circular saw works well) into sections, take them to a council waste disposal site and drop into the energy recovery skip. Goes to nearest waste-to-power station. Check restrictions on trailers or commercial looking vehicles, some don't allow trailers and most will charge if they think you are a disposing as a business.
