The life of N2426 Devils Porridge.  Design: Mark 14, designed by: Ian Proctor in 1966
Previous boat names: Jiminy Cricket Too, Charlie Browne, Boadicea, Devils Porridge Bowl.

Spotted in 'neglected' condition at Annandale Sailing Club having come across from Tynemouth some time previously. Needed a re-decking, tlc and fitting out along with age-related repairs. It is currently awaiting repaint and varnish whilst in storage in Central Scotland. Should be sailable in the Spring. Because it was 'found' near to a War-time munitions base (in Annan) it has been re-named 'Devil's Porridge Bowl'. (Local people called the gunpowder munitions mix the devil's porridge!)

Fully refurbished and fitted-out. Offer of a 'return' to Annandale SC was declined and she was sold last autumn to an enthusiastic new owner based on the Isle of Eigg in the NW of Scotland.
