Have just aquired N941 King Alphonse for restoration :). Hull appears reasonably sound, but decks are rotten. Have original wooden mast which is splitting and needs regluing. Will post some pictures if I can work out how. Al

I am the original owner of N941.  She was built for me by Buster Blanks in his boatyard in Broxbourne and launched in 1951.  I have a photograph of me sailing her in March 1952 in an imminent hailstorm, just before a violent squall.  I  never gave either of my dinghies names, only the subsequent larger yachts I owned until last year.  I have now given up sailing, and am delighted to see that N941 still exists - best wishes for happy sailing!
