An early owner of this boat was Peter Cook, one time editor of Yachts & Yachting. I think he built the boat (from a shell) and gave it the unusual name of Phfftt or similar, the sound a text message can make when it is sent from a mobile phone. I met him at Fareham during winter series of racing in the late-1950s. |
