Magician won Burton cup and national champs 1961 with Dr Mike Evans at the helm. Has been in the Burton family[Tom Burton Founder member of Ripon SC] since 1964. Now owned by Andrew Wilkinson and is being given a makeover hoping to be on the water spring 2008.Will be based at Ripon SC and will compete in the northern vintage circuit |

I have bought N1954 off Andrew , I have repainted and varnished the hull and in the process of fitting the hull out with the original fittings where possible. I will be keeping her at Hornsea Mere (?East yorks ) . I am not a racer at the moment but am interested in vintage N12's having learnt to sail in a 1950's Holt N1030. I intend to use the original? mast and sails , but have a more modern mast and a Ullmans main c1989 and will be interested how she performs |
